Our Mission

The awakening of awareness
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. Mahatma Gandhi

VegON was born with the ambition to become a reference point about the various issues connected to the concept of sustainability.

Nowadays, everybody is speaking about sustainability, but what does it mean? For us, adopting a sustainable lifestyle means first of all showing respect in everything we do, with no exception. Each one of our actions, small or big, must focus on respect: towards ourselves, the environment and the others regardless that they are human beings or animals.

Mission Vegon
Ethics is that branch of philosophy that studies the behaviour of human beings and the criteria according to which attitudes and choices are evaluated. Aristotele

VegON is the result of the very difficult awakening process of a conscience that has been sleeping for a very long time and that litlle by little has realized what impact man is having on this Planet.

We aim at boosting ethical behaviours and choices, that finally put man back in the centre of the ecosystem, no longer to exploit the weakest ones but in a natural, primordial harmony.

Just a few months ago we became aware of the fact that, if we do not change our habits and consumer behaviours, we will soon reach the point of no return in this climate and environmental crisis that actually started years ago but that most of us has been ignoring for too long.

Apart from the different, sometimes opposing positions about the situation in which our Planet currently finds itself, it cannot be denied that an increasing number of once unknown illnesses has been registered in the last century: cancer, allergies and symptoms of intolerance, heart diseases, obesity, etc.

Therefore, we want to opt for consumer behaviours that are more respectful of Nature and thus healthier for all human beings: plant-based food, well-being and health, ecotourism, locally based producers, ethical brands, projects of social responsibility and environmental plans.
